This exercise strengthens the deltoid and trapezius muscles in the shoulders, neck and back. Sit with your back straight, keep your upper arms tucked firmly to the sides of your body, bend your elbows at a 90° angle so that your hands are out in front of you. Wrap the resistance band around your hands, slowly move your forearms outwards away from each other, and then slowly back in.
